The restaurant was closing down for renovation, planning to get rid of all the furnishings, including the wood bar stools with the "nasty" vinyl seat covering. "Take whatever you want," the bartender said.

After being totally dismantled, bleached and treated with numerous coats of stripper, the wood bar stools ended up with a cool whimsical coastal desgin.
