The charming beach ome of illustrator and writer Sandy Gingras on Long Beach in New Jersey.
I'm sure many of you know Sandy Gingras -Creator of Whimsical Beach Illustrations. Sandy wanted a (new) home that reminded her of the simple beach cottages that she grew up with. So she hired an architect who specializes in historic beach homes to build this beauty on Long Beach Island in New Jersey.
The cedar shake siding has faded to a gorgeous silvery gray. The fun sign is made by a local artist.
Instead of drywall, the walls are covered with Wood Paneling (pine planks). A Painted Oar hangs above the window.
