HGTVs dream house 2016 brings the ocean inside with blue, sea foam green and modern style design elements.
HGTV's Dream House 2016 is located on Merritt Island in Florida.
The Ocean Inspired Color Scheme features layers of blue that provides a cohesive look between the bedroom and bathroom.
The ocean blue bedroom opens to a view of the Indian River, palm trees and the dock. You can spin around in the hammock chair and take in all the views. The sea foam green headboard is a nice contrast to the colors in the room.
Blue penny tile walls with contrasting white grout lines bring the ocean to the bathroom, along with some fun art. I'm also loving the awning-esque Roman Shade. In keeping with the maritime feel, the light sconce resembles those found on ships.
The Sea Inspired String Art is quite spectacular.
The marlin image is dotted with needle like finishing nails. String was then attached to the nails and crisscrossed to form the image of the fish.
The guest bathroom also features blue penny tiles. The coral shower curtain is a gorgeous contrasting color.
